Grandma Wooten Died At McAdoo Monday This Week

Grandma Wooten, mother of Andy and R. R. Wooten, of the McAdoo country, died Monday of this week, her remains being interred in the Spur cemetery beside her husband who died here several years ago.

Grandma Wooten was 69 years of age and with the Wooten family, was among the early settlers of this country. One by one these old timers and early setlers who blazed the trail for an agricultural empire of the west are now passing on to their reward in the Great Beyond. The hardships and deprivations endured and accomplishments acquired entitle each to a crown of gold in the Land of Promise
