Services for Sue Viola Winkler, 84, of Kalgary, were at 11 a.m. Monday, April 29 at the Highway 70 Church of Christ. Jim York, Sunray, and Charles Ball, Spur minister, officiated.

Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Winkler died at 10:20 a.m. on April 27 at the Lakeside Care Center in Lubbock. She was born July 27, 1911 at Kalgary and had lived most of her life there. She married William Roy Winkler in Anson on April 17, 1934. He preceded her in death on July 27, 1979.

Mrs. Winkler was employed by the Crosbyton Schools for about 30 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ. One son, L.C. Winkler, preceded her in death in 1981.

Survivors include two sons, Boney Winkler, Kalgary and Roy Don Winkler, Lubbock; one daughter, Leanora Sue Jones, Kalgary; two brothers, W.C. Scott, Tacoma, Washington and Murray Scott Clay, Luling; two sisters, Willie Maude Barkley, Spur and Donalita Lane, Morrilton, AR; nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
