Tressie Willis

Funeral services for Mrs. Tressie Lee Willis, age 89, were conducted at the First Baptist Church, Girard, at 2 p.m. with Bro. Earl Brewer of Munday officiating.

Interment was in the Spur Cemetery under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home.

Mrs. Willis succumbed Monday, December 20, at her residence in the Antelope community. She had been a resident of Kent County for the past 36 years, having come to Kent County in 1912. She was converted at the age of 13 in the Pentecost Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Jo Annex Seal, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Jesse Austin, Strathmore, California; Mrs. Tressie Bural, Wilson, Oklahoma; four sons, Robert, Clayton, John and George, all of Girard; 29 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Clayton Willis, Jr., Clifford Willis, Don Willis, Floyd Willis, Cris Bural and Granville Bural.
