Funeral services for Joseph Dee Williamson, 56, a custom combine operator, were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church, Rev. Norris Taylor, officiated, assisted by Loyd Womack.

Mr. Williamson died suddenly in Houman, La. On June 7. He was a member of the Baptist Church and had resided in Dickens County since 1925.

Survivors include his wife of Spur; one son, Jackie Williamson, Lubbock; two daughters, Norman Pentico, Lubbock; and Sandra Spoon also of Lubbock; three brothers, Lee Williamson of Odessa; J.L. Williamson of Spur and Orville Williamson of Maryville; two sisters, Orita Crawford, Odessa; Willimay Rodford, Kress; also six grandchildren.

Pallbearers included C.A. Shipman, Robert Thomson, Hester Arnold, Bill Corder, Wilburn Ball and George Erath.

Interment was in Dickens Cemetery
