Funeral services were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the Spur Church of Christ for William Thomas Williams, 68, a well known Spur farmer. Gary Williams, minister officiated at the service, assisted by Dr. C.L. Kay, vice president of Lubbock Christian College.

Mr. Williams died of an apparent heart attack at his farm home two miles north of Spur January 2. He had been a resident of Spur since 1919 and was a deacon in the Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Williams, Spur; two daughters, Mrs. Maxine Harvey, Oklahoma City, Mrs. Joyce Stacy, Crystal City; two sisters, Mrs. Melba Corbin, Spur and Mrs. Lela Jackson, Dalhart; three brothers, Acie Williams, Lingleville; Bernice Williams, Paducah and Jack Williams, Amarillo; five grandchildren.

Interment was in Spur cemetery.
