Services for Mrs. Minnie Pearl Williams, 79, were held at 2 p.m. August 5 at the Spur Church of Christ. Vernon Williams, Comanche, OK officiated.

Mrs. Williams died in a Lubbock hospital August 2. She had lived in Spur since 1964 and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Spur; six sons, Edd Williams, Spur; Carl Williams, Denver, CO; Robert Williams, Spur; Marvin Williams, Lubbock; Arvil Williams, Vernon; T.J. Williams, Lubbock; six daughters, Mrs. Velma Young, Abernathy; Mrs. Ruby Cox, Cincinnati, OH; Mrs. Jo Nell Hardgrove, Goldthwaite, and half-brother, Charles Lewis, Tulia; 28 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Grandsons were pallbearers.

Burial was in Spur Cemetery.
