Services for Gary Williams, 37, Spur, were at 2 p.m. January 5, 1990 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Wilcox, pastor of the West Main Baptist Church, Artesia, NM officiating. He was assisted by Dr. Genoa Goad, local Baptist pastor.
Williams died about 11:25 a.m. on January 3, 1990 at his home in Spur following a lengthy illness. He was born August 5, 1952 in Matador. He had resided in Spur for the past four months, moving here from Houston. He was a construction worker.
Survivors include one sister, Sandra Agee, Conroe; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Williams, Spur; his grandmothers, Loyce Greaves, Lamesa and Ada Williams, Iraan.
Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home incharge of arrangements.
