Services for Dillard Lane Williams, 74, were at 2 p.m. December 10, 1990 in the First Baptist Church, Spur, with Dr. Genoa Goad, church pastor, officiating.

Williams died December 8, 1990 in the Spur Care Center following a lengthy illness. He was born January 20, 1916 in Roby. He lived in Lubbock from 1958 to 1976 but had lived in Spur most of his life. He married Nina Neaves on March 14, 1935 in Spur. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Nina Neaves, Spur; four sons, Toby Williams,Floydada; Alton Williams, Lubbock; Jerry Williams, Lovington, NM and Robert Williams, Phoenix, AZ; three brothers, Russel and Willard (Snooks) Williams, both of Spur; C.L. Williams, Irving; a sister, Norwreta Mathis, Lubbock; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Burial wasin Spur Memorial Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
