Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Spur Church of Christ for Tobe Westfall, 75. He died Sunday at his home following a lengthy illness.

Charles Adams officiated, assisted by C.L. Smith of Abilene Christian College.

Mr. Westfall was born in Mason County, TX in 1888. He moved to Dickens County in 1916 and lived in the Red Hill community. He had lived in Spur since 1960. He was a member of the Church of Christ and the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Westfall, Spur; two sons, Richard, Spur; and Ira, Dickens, two daughters, Mrs. Joe Bailey Kimmel, Quitman; and Mrs. Olan Daughtry, Spur; three brothers, Dave, Dickens, Elmer, Kermit; and Leonard, Carthage, MO; one sister, Mrs. Frank Berry, Aspermont; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Burial was in the Spur cemetery.
