Mrs. Lula M. Westerman, 73, resident of Spur since 1927 died Saturday, March 12th. Services were held Sunday afternoon at the First Baptist Church of Spur, Rev. Riley Fugitt officiating.

A native of Cross Cut, TX, she married R.L. Westerman on May 28, 1905. Their first home was at Cross Cut.

Survivors are her husband, 3 daughters, Mrs. Beulah Watters, Spur; Mrs. Pat Pentecost, Sacramento, CA; and Mrs. Nadine Brooks, Richardson; 3 brothers, John Mann, Cross Cut; Will Mann, Mesa, AR; and 4 sisters Mrs. Minnie Arledge, Cross Cut; Mrs. Charley Arledge, Huntington Beach, CA; Mrs. E.W. Arledge, Porterfield, CA; and Mrs. C.L. Preston, Cross Plains, TX. Three grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren also survive.

Interment was in Spur cemetery.
