Funeral services are scheduled at 10 a.m. today, Thursday, December 11 for Lebcious A. Welborn, 73, at the First Baptist Church, the Rev. Riley Fugitt officiating. He will be assisted by Rev. R.D. Hill.

Welborn died Tuesday, December 9. Born in Moody, TX in 1885, Welborn came to Dickens County in 1921. He married the former Ethel Neister in 1930. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ethel Welborn; three daughters, Mrs. James Thomason, Brownfield, Mrs. Edward McCormick, Big Spring, and Mrs. Chester Burton, Waco; 2 step-daughters, Mrs. Nell Scott, Spur and Mrs. Grace King, San Antonio.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs, Jimmy Tosh, Moody; and Mrs. Seth Bostic, Moody; three brothers, Ed Welborn, Cohitta, GA; Yance Welborn, Cranfils Gap, TX; George Welborn, Mart, TX; nine grandchildren also survie.

Interment will be in Spur Cemetery.
