Funeral services for Callie Bell Webster were held Sunday, September 11, in Campbell's Chapel, Spur.Mrs. Webster was born May 26, 1879 in Grimes County, TX and died September 9, at her home in Jayton.
She married R.B. Webster in Limestone County and came to Dickens County in 1944 and lived in the Kalgary community until 1958, when they moved to Jayton.
Rev. Dock Love officiated and was assisted by Rev. O.W. Pierce. Mrs. Webster was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Alex Webster of Jayton and George Webster of Snyder; two daughters, Mrs. A.H. Newsom, Big Spring and Mrs. Mozell Cathey, Moab, Utah; and one sister, Mrs. Lena Carrie of Los Alamitos, CA. Seventeen grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren also survive.
Grandsons were pallbearers.
Interment was at Spur under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home.
