Funeral services will be held today, Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the First Baptist Church for Willian Luther Webb, 80. The Rev. Riley Fugitt will officiate.Born in Quitman, TX in 1878, Webb first came to Spur in 1927. He married the former Roxie Lee in 1902. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He died Tuesday.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Roxie Webb; one daughter, Mrs. Gracy Clower, Dickens; two sons, Noble Webb an Edward Webb, Spur, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren survive.
