Mrs. Millie Walden Long Time Res. Dies

Mrs. (Mary Jane) Mollie Walden, a fifty-five year resident of Dickens County, died April 20, after suffering from a heart attack.

She was converted to the Christian religion in 1919 to the Primitive Baptistt Church.

Services were held April 21 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Dock Love officiating assisted April 23 for Robert Franklin.

Pallbearers were Marion Jordon, Lane Bachman, Kelcy Putman, Jimmy Hahn, Clyde Smith, and Rev. Keller.

Interment was in the Spur Cemetery with Chandler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ila Beadle of Spur, three sons, Lem of Spur, Ted, and Bob of Crosbyton, four sisters, Bel Atkinson of Salem, OR, and Mrs. Ann Haley of CA, Mattie Shults of Feran, and Sallie Williams of Spur.

Two brothers, Jim Joiner of Fort Summer, NM, and Sam Joiner of Coachoma,TX. Also 17 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.
