Services for Lillian Jane Wade, 90, of Abilene, formerly of Spur, were at 3 p.m. May 5, 1990, in the First Baptist Church with Rev. James Mantooth, Fort Worth, officiating. Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery wit Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wade died at the home of her daughter, Doris Formby, Abilene, on May 2. She was born November 10, 1899 in New Waverly where she grew up. She lived in Spur until 1938 and then moved to New Mexico. She moved to Abilene in 1960.
She married Sidney W. Wade on January 23, 1921 in Rochester. He preceded her in death in 1937. She was a member of the Southwest Park Baptist Church in Abilene.
Survivors include three sons, Gerald Alvis Wade, Portales, NM; Donald A. Wade, Gallop, NM and Kenneth W. Wade, Melrose, NM; three daughters, Wynona K. Glover, Brownfield; Doris Evelyn Formby, Abilene and Yeuleta J. Wyatt, Falls Church, Virginia; one brother, Clarence Faulkner, Albany, Oregon; a sister, Ola Mae Allen, Lubbock; 20 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
