Services for Kenneth Ray Stoneman, 64, of Spur were Monday, June 1, 1998 at the First Baptist Church in Spur. Rev. Richard Harbison officiated. Burial was in the Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home.

Mr. Stoneman died Saturday, May 30, at his home. He was born December 25, 1933 in Dickens County. He was a 1954 graduate of Farley High School, New Mexico. He married Janell Bradford July 19, 1963 in Spur. He lived in Spur most of his life and was employed by the Texas Agriculture Experiment Station in spur for 26 years. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Janell Stoneman, Spur; his mother-in-law, Juanita Bradford, Spur; two sons, Chip Stoneman, Spur; Royce Head, Euless; one daughter, Sandy Hall, Jayton; four brothers, Alvis Stoneman, Spur; Charles Stoneman, Spur; Cleo Stoneman, Dalhart; Wendell Stoneman, Lubbock; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Services for Janell Stoneman, 63, of Spur were at 3 pm. Wednesday, June 7, 2000 at the First Baptist Church in Spur with the Rev. C.L. Atkinson and Rev. Richard Harbison officiating. Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.

She died June 4 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. She was born December 6, 1936 in Roaring Springs, Texas. She has lived most of her life in Spur. She married Kenneth R. Stoneman July 19, 1963 in Spur. He preceded her in death on May 30, 1998. She was a housewife and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Stoneman, Jr. of San Angelo and Royce Head of Euless; one daughter, Sandy Hall of Jayton; mother, Juanita Bradford of Spur; three brothers, Roger Bradford of Spur, Dewain Bradford of Santa Rosa, NM, Ronny Bradford of Spur; one sister, Donnita Rich of Roswell, NM; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Shannon Head, Eric Head, Ronnie Bilberry, Bret Bradford, Shad Bradford and Tye Bradford.
