Funeral services were held Monday in the Nazarene Church for Mrs. Ella Maye Stark, 55. Rev. Bob Ferguson officiated.

Mrs. Stark died in Spur Memorial Hospital following an illness of about six months.

Born in Marlin, she first came to Dickens Co. in 1927. She lived six miles north of Dickens. She was a member of the Four Square Church.

Survivors include her husband, G.R. Stark, Her mother, Mrs. Alice Rutledge, Spur; four daughters, Mrs. Ira Westfall, Dickens, Mrs. Johnny Bowdain, Lubbock, Mrs. W.F. Toford, Lubbock, and Mrs. Oney Gaston, Dickens. Four brothers, L.M. Rutledge, San Bernardino, CA; Calvin, Phoenix, AZ; T.S., Odessa; and Earl Hale, Spur; Four sisters, Mrs. Jewel Watson, Watsonville, CA; Mrs. Laura Newman, Crowell; Mrs. Clyde Morrow, Spur, and Mrs. Bernice Howell, Lubbock; six grandchildren.

Burial was in the Spur Cemetery.
