Graveside services for Suzanne Garner Smith, 50, of San Angelo were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday October 9, 2002 in Spur Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Harbison officiating. Services were under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.
She died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002 in San Angelo.
Mrs. Smith was born May 1, 1952, in Crosbyton to Elton "Rip" and Marguerite Van Hook Garner. She graduated from Spur High School in 1970. She attended South Plains College and graduated from Commercial College in Lubbock. She worked for GTE in San Angelo from 1972 to 1977. She married Kenneth L. Smith on Oct. 15, 1978, in Spur. She had lived in San Angelo since 1988, and had worked for the city of San Angelo since 1990.
She is survived by her husband of San Angelo; a son, Kenneth K. of Bristol, Va.; her father, Elton "Rip" Garner of Spur; and a twin sister, Marianne McAllister of Southlake, TX.
