U.S.Flag   Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Spur Church of Christ for Robert O. Smith, 48.

A trucker and blacksmith, Mrs. Smith had been hospitalized in Big Spring for the past two months.

Paul Coffman, minister of the Colgate Church of Christ, Lubbock, officiated.

Born in 1914, Mr. Smith resided in Dickens County from 1933 to 1952. He had lived in Lubbock since 1952. He was a veteran of World War II. Military graveside rites were held.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Ida May Smith, Lubbock, his wife, Mrs. Florence Smith, Lubbock, three sisters, Mrs. Tressie Williams, Lubbock, Mrs. Bethel Gordon, Smyer, and Mrs. Mae Dell Britton, Seattle, WA; two brothers, Alva Earl Smith, Levelland and Joyce M. Smith, San Angelo.

Interment was in Spur Cemetery.
