Rosary for Lucy Ann Garcia Smith, 45, of Lubbock was held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2002 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Spur.
Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2002 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Antonio Gonzales officiating.
Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.
She died Wednesday, May 22, 2002 in Lubbock.
Mrs. Smith was born September 4, 1956, in Spur to Martin and Clara Gonzalez Garcia.. She was valedictorian of the Spur High School class of 1975. She earned a master's degree in science from North Texas State University. She was an interior designer and a Catholic.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Martin Garcia, Jr. in 2001.
She is survived by her mother; two nieces, Melissa and Vernonica Garcia of Lubbock, and one newphew Martin Garcia III of Lubbock.
