In Remembrance of

Services for Inez Chambless Smith, 88, of Post were held Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at Post Church of Christ with the Rev. Paul Jones officiating. Burial was in Spur Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home of Post.

She died Saturday, January 2, 2003 at Golden Plains Care Center

Mrs. Smith was born May 4, 1914 in Stamford,Texas. She married Bill Andrew Chambless on September 22, 1930 in Mangum, Oklahoma. He died on May 14, 1962. She later married Dovie Smith on January 13, 1965 in Arlington. He died in July, 1987. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club in Spur. She was a housewife and a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Wayne Hardin, on March 23, 2000.

She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Doris Hardin of Houston, Ada Lou and Jimmy Bird of Post, and Wanda and Ted Hancock of Alamo; nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren; and two great nieces, Florence Boswell and Dorothy Haynes, both of Dallas.
