Services for Beth Anderson Sleeth, 82, Mesa, Arizona, (formerly of Spur) were held April 24, at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church with Dr. Genoa Goad, pastor, officiating.

Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Sleeth died April 20, in Mesa, Arizona. She was dead on arrival at the hospital following a brief illness. Time of death was approximately 5 a.m.

She was born in Portales,NM on August 25, 1904. She spent the early part of her life in Spur where she attended school. She was an accomplished writer and past president and lifetime member of the Lone Star Showmans Club of Texas.

Survivors include her husband, Harry Sleeth, Mesa, Arizona; one son, James Anderson, Houston; a daughter, Jona Beth Evans, Houston; three brothers, J.B. Morrison, Spur; Jesse Morrison, Abernathy and Robert Morrison, San Antonio; three sisters, Addie Joe Dismukes, Dallas; Forene Morgan, Amarillo and Velma Spradling, Houston; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
