Mrs. Julia Simpson, fifty eight years of age, died Saturday Morning January 19th, after a brief illness, her remains being interred Sunday afternoon in Spur cemetery, funeral services being conducted at the home by L.L.F. Parker, pastor of the Spur Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband and three daughters. The family recently moved to Spur, purchasing a farm near here.©The Texas Spur, February 1, 1924
