Obituary

William Frank ShugartFuneral rites for William Franklin Shugart, who died at his home in Spur, Saturday, were conducted in___-Church at 3 p.m. December 11 with Rev. Lester Hill officiating.

Mr. Shugart had been a resident of Dickens County for the past 38 years. He was born in B___ville, Texas. He married Ida Hines of Prairie Hill, Texas in 1892. Mr. Shugart joined the Methodist Church in 1903.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ida Shugart; 4 daughters, Mrs. Roy Arrington, Spur, Mrs. Dot Sargent, Roswell, N.M., Mrs. Al Durance, Galveston, and Mrs. Ralp Cobb, Long Beach, Calif.; four sons, M.F. Shugart and W.P. Shugart, of Spur, Emory Shugart, Denver City and Dick Shugart, Roswell, N.M.

Burial was in the Spur Cemetery under the direction of Campbell's Funeral Chapel.

Pallbearers were M. Rickels, Robert McAteer, R.E. Dickson, Lawis Lee, E.S. Lee, John King, F.F. Vernon and John Adams.
