Funeral services for Marilyn Joyce Sechrist, 8 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Sechrist of Spur, were held at 3 p.m., July 16, in the First Christian Church.

Marilyn Joyce died July 15, after a week's illness. She was born February 24, 1942 in Spur and had lived here all her life. She became a member of the First Christian Church in August 1949.

Survivors include the parents, 3 sisters, Norma, Betty, and Texanita, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. S.H. Sechrist, Ralls, and Mrs. Luvelva Young of Arizona.

Interment was in Spur Cemetery with Chandler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
