Obituary

Mrs. C.H. Scott, wife of Cecil Scott of the Steel Hill community, died Saturday about 12 o'clock at the Nichols Sanitarium where she had been under treatment several weeks, her remains being interred Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock in Spur cemetery, Rev. Wayne Grizzle of Kalgary, an old friend of the family conducting the funeral service.

Mrs. Scott had been suffering for months of a disease of the bone in one of her legs, something similar to tuberculosis of the bone, and had been at the Nichols Sanitarium undergoing treatment with a view of undergoing a surgical operation. An operation, we understand was performed Saturday morning, she surviving only a few hours.

Mrs. Scott was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Hooper of the Twin Wells community, and had been reared in this Western community.

Cecil Scott and the family has the heartfelt sympathy of his many friends in this sorrow and great bereavement.
