Charley Rutledge died Wednesday at the home of his father, Ben Rutledge of four or five miles west of Spur, after a protracted illness of bright's disease, his remains being interred Thursday afternoon in the Spur cemetery. Charley suffered long and patiently, and it has been known for several weeks that he could not survive.The Texas Spur extends sincere condolence to his surviving daughter, father and other relatives in this hour of their bereavement.
