Mrs. Ella Robinson Is Claimed By Death

Ella Rye Robinson, 69, died Thursday, November 5, at 11 p.m. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, November 7, at the Methodist Church with Rev. Howard Crawford of Lamesa and Rev. Cal C. Wright, officiating.

Mrs. Robinson was born December 27, 1884, in Comanche, Texas. She was married to Buster Robinson on September 6, 1919 and then they moved to Dickens County that same year. She was converted early in life and joined the Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Lafayette and Fannin Robinson of Spur; one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Bratcher of Fort Worth; two grandchildren, Orville Robinson of Lubbock and Jammie Lynn Bratcher of Fort Worth; three sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Morman of Clyde, Mrs. D.B. Robertson of Richmond and Mrs. Tarlie Diz of Clyde.

Pallbearers were Ed McArthur, Richard Westfall, Raymond Powell, Cliff Byrd, Louis Williams and Earl Thomason.

Interment was in Spur Cemetery under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home.
