Funeral services for Charlie Elton Robinson, 84, were held Saturday, December 12 at 3 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Spur, with Rev. C.L. Atkinson, Dickens, officiating.Mr. Robinson died December 10 in the Crosbyton Hospital. He was a carpenter and lived in Dickens County from 1925 to 1944 and from 1979 to present. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Edna Robinson, Dickens; three sons, Loyd E. Robinson, Cottonwood, Arizona; Don Robinson, Fresno, California; Ray Robinson, Glendale, Arizona; one step-son, Ralph E. Edgar, Copperscove; one daughter, Faye Trousdale, Garland; one sister, Avis Smith, Lubbock and five brothers: Pat Robinson, Spur; E.E. Robinson, Azle; Braz Robinson and Lon C. Robinson, Fort Worth; George Robinson, Lubbock; 17 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
Burial was in Spur Cemetery with Campbell's Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
