Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the First Christian Church for Mrs. Viola Roberson, 80. Rev. John Nay, church pastor, officiated.Mrs. Roberson died at her home about 5 a.m. Feb. 8. She had been a resident of Dickens County since the early 1920's. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Everett Roberson, Spur; two daughters, Mrs. Byrdine Cypher, Jr., Monahans; Mrs. Gladys Sweatt, Silsbee; one brother, Manual Byrd, Lawrenceburg, TN; six grandchildren.
Burial was in Spur Cemetery.

Funeral services for Everett Roberson, 86, a retired farmer, were held last Thursday, March 2, at 3 p.m. in the First Christian Church, Spur. Rev. John Nay officiated.Mr. Roberson died in Ward Memorial Hospital, Monahans, on March 1. He had been a resident of Dickens County since the early 1920's. He was a member of the Christian Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Byrdean Cypher, Monahans; Mrs. Gladys Sweatt, Silsbee; two sisters, Mr. Hazel Walton, Oceanside, CA; Mrs. Helen Martin, Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; two brothers, Willard Roberson, Winterhaven, Fla.; Dewey Roberson, Lawrenceburg, Tenn. a half sister and two half brothers; and six grandchildren.
Interment was in Spur Cemetery.
