Obituary

Funeral services for Isaac Rinehart, age 81, who died last Thursday, were conducted at the First Methodist Church, Friday, April 29, at 4 p.m. with Rev. L.L. Hill, pastor, officiating.

Interment followed in the Spur Cemetery under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home.

Mr. Rinehart was a native of Jamestown, Alabama, having been born there on February 11, 1865. He came to Texas in 1900 and to Dickens County in 1937, and had resided in the Gilpin Community since then. He was a member of the Methodist Church, having joined at an early age.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Emma Reed, Sageton, Texas; four sons, John of Spur, Melton of Midland, Walter and Brown of Rule; 24 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
