U.S.Flag   Funeral services for Calvin Ray Reynolds, 49, were held Saturday morning at 11 a.m. in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Norris Taylor, frmer Spur pastor, now of Stinnett, officiating.

Reynolds died suddenly at Fisher County Hospital in Rotan about 1:30 a.m. May 14, 1986. He apparently suffered a heart attack; he had been a heart patient for the past few years after having open heart surgery.

Born June 17, 1936 in Spur, he married the former Joyce Swift in Stamford on April 19, 1958. He had lived in Dickens County most of his life and in recent years, served as an instrument tender for Mobil Oil Co.

A 32nd degree Mason, he was a member of the Baptist Church. He was a four year Army veteran and a 1954 graduate of Spur High School.

He was a former member of the Spur City Council; past president and director of the Spur Golf Club. An avid golfer, he served for a time as the Golf Professional at White River Golf Club. Later he regained his amatuer status and was well known in area golf circles.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Reynolds, Spur; his mother, Mable Reynolds, Spur; one son, Lance Reynolds, Phoenix, AZ; two daughters, DeAnn Butler, Suisan City, CA; [rest of obit not decipherable]
