Clint Renfroe Died Very Suddenly Monday NightFriends of Mr. and Mrs. George Renfroe were shocked and grieved to learn Tuesday morning of the death of their son, Clint, which occurred Monday night at their ranch home northeast of Spur.
Clint Renfroe and Pete Sampson had been working on the Sneed Ranch for some time batching at one of the camps. They each, we are informed, had suffered of severe headaches from unknown causes. They decided to come home.
Clint, after arriving at home, had been taking medicine, but was not considered critically ill. In fact, it is said that his death was not expected and not known until members of the family prepared a dose of medicine to give him and found him dead. Clint was about 18 years of age, the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Renfroe, and was a young man who was held in the highest esteem by his associates and all who knew him.
We extend sincere sympathy to the family in this great bereavement.

Died of PoisonClint Renfroe, age 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Renfroe, died at his home at Spur, July 18, 1922. He met his death as a result of heart paralysis, following some variety of ptomaine poison of unknown origin.
The nature of the disease has perplexed everyone as there are 9 or 10 of the boys, who were working cattle on the Paddle Ranch who were stricken almost alike, but there were two fatal victims, as yet reported.
