W.B. REEVES DIES AUG. 11

Funeral services were held Friday, August 13, for William Bruce Reeves, 77, a retired railroad employee.

Rev. John Floyd, Kermit, officiated, assisted by Rev. John Martin, Lubbock.

Mr. Reeves died at Spur Memorial Hospital on August 11, 1965. He had worked for Ft. Worth and Denver Railroad for 25 years.

A member of the First Chrisitan Church, and Odd Fellow Lodge, he had been a resident of Spur since 1941.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. W.B. Reeves, Spur; two daughters, Mrs. H.M. Atwell, Corpus Christi and Mrs. H.E. Whitwell, Lubbock, three brothers, Dallas Reeves, Corpus Christi; Manning Reeves, Midland and Edd Reeves, Henrietta; two sisters, Mrs. Eunice Loe, Slaton and Mrs. Eula Hanks, Nacona.

Pallbearers were Jerry Ensey, Clomer Randall, Olan Daughtry, Henry Slack, Clyde Smith and Horace Hyatt. Burial was in Spur Cemetery.
