Funeral services were held at the First Methodist Church, Spur, for Mrs. Pearl Rash, 84, on June 14, 1956.

Mrs. Rash was born on Jan. 22, 1872, in Wills Point, Texas, and died here on June 13, 1956. In 1923 she married the late G.W. Rash.

Rev. James C. Willett, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, of which Mrs. Rash was a member, officiated at the funeral. He was assisted by Rev. Cal Wright.

Pallbearers were A.M. Hoover, Weldon Grimes, Joe Bell, R.J. Bell, Lawis Lee and Marcus Copeland.

Survivors include five children: B.F. Hawley, Tince Hawley, Hez Hawley, Mrs. J.A. Tuttle and one step-daughter, Mrs. Mary Putman. There are also surviving 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one brother, D.J. Bulls.

Interment was in Spur Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell's Funeral Home.
