Services for Arlie Melvin Ramage, 66, of Spur, were at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 13, 1990, in the Highway 70 Church of Christ, Bob Brandon, Merkel, former Spur minister, officiated, assisted by Ernie Bishop, minister of the local church.Ramage died suddenly December 11, 1990 in High Plains Baptist Hospital, Amarillo, following a brief illness. He was born in Snyder on October 20, 1924 and had resided in Dickens County since 1964, moving here from Post.
He was a farmer and insurance salesman, An Army Veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Church of Christ.
survivors include his wife, Patsy Ramage, Spur; four sons, Larry, Mike, Walter and David Ramage, all of Spur; one brother, Billy Thomas Ramage, Runaway Bay, Texas; two grandchildren.
Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
