Funeral services for Charles Wayne Rainbolt, 40, were held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Highway 70 Church of Christ with Richard Trull officiating, assisted by Doug Williams, former minister here.

Rainbolt died February 19. He had been a Spur resident all of his life. He married the former Connie Corder Sullivan on March 22, 1971. He was employed by Cap Rock Telephone for 13 years and served as a member of the Spur Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years.

He was a member of the Dickens County EMS and was recently certified as an Emergency Care Attendant. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Lewis Rainbolt, in 1972 and a sister, Carolyn, in 1983.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Rainbolt, Spur; mother, Bea Holloway, Spur; maternal grandmother, Mrs. T.D. Moore, Spur; one son, Jason Sullivan, Spur; two daughters, Belinda Rainbolt, Spur and Becky Rainbolt, Spur; a brother, Gary Rainbolt, Spur and one sister, Pat Baker, Lubbock.

Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
