Obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Ola Rainbolt, 64, were held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Spur Church of Christ with Loyd Womack, minister, officiating.

Mrs. Rainbolt died last Wednesday in the Crosbyton Hospital.

She had made her home in Dickens County since 1927, living first at Afton, then coming to Spur in 1948.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, W.B. Rainbolt, Spur; 3 sons: Lewis and Jimmy, both of Spur, and Bill, Nocona; one daughter, Mrs. Bill Yoakum, Memphis; mother, Mrs. A.E. Browning, Ardmore, Oklahoma and two sisters, Mrs. Lucian Monkers, Chickasha, Oklahoma, and Mrs. R.A. Nayler, Ardmore, Oklahoma; three brothers, L.D. Browning, Brady; Bud Browning, Thackerville, Okla., Ralph Browning, Auburn, California; thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Interment was in Spur cemetery.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Church of Christ for William Bryan Rainbolt, 70, Gary Williams, minister of the Church of Christ, officiated, assisted by Loyd Womack.

Mr. Rainbolt died at his home April 13. He had been a resident of Dickens County since 1927. He first lived in the Afton community then moved to Spur in 1948. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Church of Christ.

Mr. Rainbolt is survived by three sons, Lewis Rainbolt, Spur; Jimmy Rainbolt, Spur and Bill Rainbolt, St. Joe; one daughter, Mrs. Bill Yoakum, Plainview; one brother, Archie Rainbolt, Dickens and one sister, Mrs. Ruby Bray, Lubbock;

Also listed as survivors are 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Interment was in Spur Cemetery.
