Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Gelena Ragsdale, 86, were held Tuesday at the Spur Church of Christ at 2 p.m. with C.V. Allen officiating.

Mrs. Ragsdale came to Texas when she was 16 and came to Dickens county in 1915 where she lived in the Dry Lake community. She is preceded in death by her husband.

Survivors include four sons: A.E. Ewell, Amarillo; Hugh N. Ewell, Cisco; Dawson Ewell, Colorado City, and Allen Ewell, Abilene; five daughters, Mrs. M.E. McKinney, Lubbock, Mrs. J.A. Barta, Marion, TX, two sisters and two brothers also survive. They are Mrs. Naomi Beal and Mrs. Eva Huff, both of Ennis and Walter Hudgepeth, Nashville, Tennessee, and Columbus Hudgepeth, Ennis.

Burial was in the Spur cemetery.
