Funeral services were held at graveside in Spur Memorial Cemetery at 10 a.m., May 10 for Winnie Harper Putman, 89. Rev. Leslie Lane, church pastor of the First Christian Church, officiated.

Mrs. Putman died May 7 about 5:30 p.m. in the Spur Care Center. Justice of the Peace, Woody McArthur, ruled death due to natural causes.

She was born August 5, 1895 in McKinney. Her husband preceded her in death on January 5, 1953. She was a member of the Christian Church, and the Eastern Star.

Survivors include one son, Bill Putman, Flagstaff, AZ; a granddaughter, Carolyn Putman, also of Flagstaff and one grandson,David Putman of Oklahoma City, OK.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
