C. C. Powell Died Sunday Following Protracted Illness

C.C. Powell died Sunday morning at his home in the southwest part of the city. Mr. Powell had been in ill health for a number of years, being confined to his room and bed for the past several months. Funeral services were held and interment made at Spur cemetery Monday.

Mr. Powell and family had made their home in Spur the past ten or twelve years.

His wife and seven children survive, and to whom sincere sympathy is extended in this hour of their bereavement.
