Rites Held Here For Miss Ponder

Graveside services were held Wednesday at 3:30 in Spur Cemetery for Miss Sophronia Ponder, 80, a retired school teacher.

Miss Ponder died at her home in Fort Worth on October 6.

Survivors include her mother, Mrs. L.C. Ponder, Breckenridge; three sisters, Emma Lee Phillips, Fort Worth; Estelle Penninger, Breckenridge, and Florine Murchison, Dickens; one brother, Cecil Ponds, Los Angeles, CA.

Interment was in Spur Cemetery with Rev. Jack DeWitt, pastor of Dickens Baptist church officiating.
