U.S.Flag   Eugene Perry, Jr., 53, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2004, at a Abilene hospital. Services were held Saturday, October 23rd at the First Baptist Church in Spur, Texas with Wilson Perry officiating. Burial followed in Spur Cemetery, under the direction of Abilene Funeral Home.

Mr. Perry was born September 15, 1951, in Spur, Texas. He graduated from Spur High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Eugene had worked in maintenance for Spur Care Center in Spur and Quaker Villa Care Center in Lubbock.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Perry of Abilene, a son, Patrick Perry of Spur, two daughters, Carolyn Perry and rish Perry, both of Killeen, a brother, Wilson Douglas Perry of Lubbock, three sisters, Betty Jean Mickels of Houston, Charlene Balantine of Huntsville, Alabama and Lillian P. Johnson and husband Earl of Abilene, and 7 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frankie Lee and Eugene Perry, Sr., a brother, Marvin Henry Perry.
