Mrs. Loyd Parsons, wife of Loyd Parsons of Kalgary, died Friday in a Fort Worth hospital where she had been carried for treatment. Although Mrs. Parsons had been in ill health for some time, it was thought her condition improved and her death was unexpected and a severe shock to all.The remains were brought overland from Ft. Worth, and interment made in the Spur Cemetery, Rev. H.L. Burnham conducting the services.
Surviving are her husband, Loyd Parsons and three daughters.
The Texas Spur joins in extending sympathy to the family in their bereavement.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church here for Loyd Enoch Parsons, 64, who died suddenly in Breckenridge, Feb. 15.Rev Wayne Grizzle, Crosbyton, officiated and was assisted by Rev. Norris Taylor.
Mr. Parsons had been a resident of Breckenridge since 1952. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Winifred Morrow, Colleyville and Mrs. Bill Lively, Rosenburg; three brothers, all of Spur, Craig, Tom and Lem Parsons; one sister, Mrs. William McCormick of Littlefield; also eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers included R. W. Self, Doyle Hinson, Darrell Fisher, Waldo Harris, Glenn Havins and Ralph Parsons.
Interment was in Spur Cemetery.
