Funeral services for Leo Parramore, 64, were held Saturday morning at 10 a.m. in the First Baptist Church. Rev. Norris Taylor, church pastor officiated.Mr. Parramore died August 17 in an ambulance enroute to a hospial. He married Delma Lucille Hicks in Amarillo in 1964 and they moved to Spur in 1965. He had lived most of his life in Lubbock.
Mr. Parramore operated an upholstery shop in Spur. He was member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include his wife of Spur; his mother, Mrs. Eula Elliot, Lubbock; five sons, Denzel Parramore, Des Moines, Iowa; George, Lubbock; Jerry, Houston; Sherril, U.S. Navy, Guam; Billy, U.S. Army, Germany.
One daughter, Wanda Satterfield, DeQueen, Ark.; three step-sons, Roy, Larry, and Richard, all of Houston; four step-daughters, Linda, Houston; Cathy, Spur; Caroline and Barbara, both of Arlington; five brothers, Ralph, Lubbock; Chester, Amarillo; Billy Ed, Ruidoso, NM; Travis Ray, Jal, NM; DeWayne, Texarkana; three sisters, Mrs. Lemoine Burns and Mrs. Ernestine Koeirim both of Amarillo; Mrs. Betty Gentry, Lubbock; 39 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Rex Holder, Pete Day, Leo Day, Armon Fitzgerald, Albert Garcia and Dan Robertson. Burial was in Spur Cemetery.

SPUR (Special) Services for Delma Lucille "Lucy" Parramore, 63, of Missouri City will be 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church here with the Rev.. Sam Simmons, pastor, officiating.Burial will be in Spur Memorial Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.
Mrs. Parramore died at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday while visiting her daughter in Lubbock. Lubbock County Justice of the Peace, L.J. Blalack pronounced her dead, ruling that she died of natural causes.
She was born Dec. 8, 1919, in Alvord. She lived most of her life in Lubbock. She married Leo Parramore, Sept. 22, 1964 in Amarillo. He died Aug. 17, 1977.
She moved to Spur in 1967, then moved to Missouri City in the Houston area in 1977.
She was a Baptist.
Survivors include three sons, Roy Green of Houston, Larry Green of Arlington and Richard Gentry of Matador, four daughters, Cathy Reeder of Spur; Linda Thomason of Missouri City; Barbara Webb of Wilcox, AZ; and Carolyn Parker of Lubbock; her mother, Elsie Hicks of Abilene; three brothers, Douglas Hicks and Ralph Hicks, both of Wellington, and Weldon Hicks of Santa Anna, CA; three sisters, Ada Yancy of Albany; Pauline McGee of Fort Worth and Nadine Hicks of Abilene; 17 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
