T.A. O'Reilly Died In California Wed.
Clifford B. Jones received a telegram Thursday morning from Mrs. O'Reilly announcing the death of T.A. O'Reilly which occurred Wednesday i their home in Coalings, CA. The body is being shipped to Spur for interment which will take place either Sunday or Monday, dependent upon railway and transportation connection.Mr. and Mrs. O'Reilly were residents of Spur in the early days of the town's history and will be remembered by many of the old timers. Soon after the establishment of Spur Mr. O'Reilly purchased property here and now owns the concrete business business building on the east side of Burlington Avenue and occupied by City Grocery.
T.A. O'Reilly was a member of the Episcopal Church, a good man and substantial citizen, and his death will bring loss to the country. Though non-residents the past several years we of Spur who knew Mr. and Mrs. O'Reilly feel that in his death Spur has lost a loyal citizen and we extend to Mrs. O'Reilly our sincere sympathy in her hour of bereavement.

Body of T.A. O'Reilly Interred in Spur Cemetery Monday
The remains of T.A. O'Reilly, who died in California Wednesday of last week, arrived in Spur Sunday and interred Monday afternoon in Spur cemetery. Mrs. O'Reilly, who accompanied the body, has returned to California to settle up their business affairs after which she will remove to Texas and very probably make her home in Spur.Rev. Jesse Jones of Stamford and pastor of the Spur Episcopal Church conducted the funeral services at the Methodist Church and also the services at the cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. O'Reilly formerly lived in Spur and at the time of his death were making preparations to move back from California where they had been living several years.
