A funeral service will be held for William Barlow "Bill" Neaves, Jr. of Dickinson, Texas, on Saturday, May 12, at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Spur under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur with Rev. Larry Burton officiating. Burial will be in Spur Memorial Cemetery.
He passed away on Sunday, May 6, after a lengthy illness. He was born December 17, 1968 in Boston, Massachusetts. he graduated from Arlington High School in Arlington, Texas, in 1987. He was a 1994 graduate of Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth.
He is survived by his parents, Dr. William B. Neaves an Rev. Priscilla Wood Neaves of Kansas City, Missouri; his grandmother, Revie Neaves of Spur; a sister, D'Laine, and husband Jeromy Rutledge of Leawood, Kansas; and two nephews, Carson and Cade Rutledge of Leawood Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Spur/Dickens County Museum, or First United Methodist Church in Spur.
