Claude Neaves Of Girard Dies Monday

Claude Allen Neaves, a long time resident of Dickens and Kent Counties, ded April 24, 1955 in the Spur Memorial Hospital after an extended illness of several months.

He was born August 5, 198 in Aberfoyle, TX and married Juanita Justice June 1, 1935. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Neaves had been in bad health for several months and had been in the Spur Memorial Hospital for several months. His home was in Girard.

Services were held April 25 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Crafton of Stamford officiating with Rev. Lee Hollis of Sweetwater and Rev. . R. Pendey assisting.

Pallbearers were Cecil Hagar, Buck Thompson, Lonnie Williams, Charles Kimmel, Fletcher Rich and W. B. Francis.

Interment was in the Spur Cemetery with Campbell's Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his widow; a son, George, a daughter, Beth Inez, his brother, Hubert of Dallas, Fred of Spur; and his sisters, Mrs. Doris Morrison of Spur, Mrs. Elaine Ballard, Rochester, Mrs. Dillard Williams of Spur, Mrs. Mildred Elliott of Paducah, and Mrs.Imogene McJunkin of Ponca City, OK.
