Services were held October 8, 1993 in the Jayton First Baptist Church for Rosa Lee Myers, 81, of Lubbock. Rev. David Fletcher, church pastor officiated. Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Myers died at 3:50 p.m. October 5 in Methodist Hospital, Lubbock. She was born in Stonewall County but had lived in Kent County all her life. She married Loyd W. Bill Myers in Jayton on Dec. 18, 1931. He died in 1970.

She was a homemaker and worked for several years in the Kent County Nursing Home. She was a member of the Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.

Survivors include one daughter, Karon Cheyne, Lubbock; two brothers, Tommy Haines, Reno and Johnny Haines, Las Vegas, Nevada, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grands.
