Services Held Tuesday For Billie Myers

Funeral services were held Tuesday in the First Baptist Church. Jayton, for Billie Earl Myers, 34, with Rev. J. E. Lee, Plainview officiating; he was assisted by Rev. M. L. Brewer, Abernathy.

Mr. Myers, a ranch worker, died in a Waco hospital, Feb. 22. He had resided in Dickens County from 1959 to 1962. He had lived in Morgan for the past two years. He was a member of the Baptist church.

He is survived by two sons, Jeffery Myers, and Cody Myers, both of Midland; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Myers of Jayton and one sister, Karon Chaney of Lubbock.

Honorary pallbearers were Mic Myers, Fred Myers, Nig Wyatt, R. V. Hart and Curtis Steel.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Ragland, Bob Forbis, Sport Pittcock, Royce Hart, Babe Oliver, Jerry Gage, Jack Frazier and Joe B. Phillips.

Interment was in Spur Cemetery.
